Built for tradespeople.
Not accountants.

TradeTally brings invoicing, expenses, and tax-ready exports together for UK sole trader tradespeople.

Why we built this

Most accounting software is built for office teams, not plumbers in a van. You can end up paying for payroll, multi-currency, stock management, and reports you never use just to send invoices and track expenses.

Some tradespeople pay for one tool to manage jobs and another to keep financial records. TradeTally focuses on the core sole trader workflow in one place.

TradeTally does one job: helps UK sole trader tradespeople raise invoices fast, track expenses, snap receipts, and get their Self Assessment figures in order. No bloat. £12/month.

What it does

  • Professional invoices and quotes that are branded and PDF-ready
  • Expense tracking with receipt scanning (GPT-4o Vision)
  • SA103F-ready figures for Self Assessment
  • Making Tax Digital (MTD) connection for income tax
  • CIS deduction tracking for subcontractors
  • Job management to link quotes, invoices, and expenses
  • Time tracking
  • Mobile app for iOS and Android

Who it's for

TradeTally is for UK sole trader tradespeople, including plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers, carpenters, plasterers, painters, decorators, gas engineers, and general handymen.

It's designed for people who work on site, not behind a desk. You can raise an invoice in the van, capture a receipt before it gets lost, and check who owes you money from your phone.

It's not a good fit for: VAT-registered businesses with complex accounting needs, limited companies with employees, or businesses that need payroll.
