Is TradeTally MTD-ready?▾
TradeTally is built for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax, which becomes mandatory from April 2026 for sole traders earning over £50,000 (source: GOV.UK). Digital record-keeping and quarterly summaries are core to how TradeTally works. Direct HMRC submission of quarterly updates, End of Period Statements, and Final Declarations is in development and not yet live — until HMRC recognition is granted, your figures are exportable to file through recognised MTD software or share with your accountant.
